A Notice For Theta Digital Transport Owners.
Due to lack of parts and proper documentation from our vendors, and the high cost to end users for legacy transport repair, Theta Digital and Amplifier Technologies Incorporated (ATI) will no longer support, service or repair any transports sold prior to December 31, 2000. Any transports sold after that date will have limited support based on parts availability, unless they are still under warranty. Note that only transports that have been registered by the original owner either by mailing the warranty registration postcard to Theta Digital or registered by the original owner via the Theta Digital website will be eligible for repair under warranty.

Theta Digital and ATI may, at their discretion, refer any non-warranty transport repairs to an appropriate third party repair center.

Casablanca III
"The Casablanca III Xtreme DAC offers as much detail and resolution as any controller, yet always sounds natural, never fatiguing or bright. The controller features modular, card-type architecture and supports endless speaker/subwoofer and crossover combinations. But what we appreciate most is the way the Casablanca’s blends center channel information into the left and right channels for a more coherent front soundfield and better dialogue articulation. One of the most advanced and best-sounding controllers on the market

Dreadnaught II
"Like the original dreadnaught, the Dread II is fully balanced with zero global feedback. The new model delivers more power and impact, along with better low-end authority and control, stunning resolution, and incredible soundstage depth and focus...."

The Absolute Sound's Editors’ Choice Award2004: Theta Citadel Monoblock
"Theta’s Citadel is a massive, powerful, gorgeously sculpted solid-state monoblock with the liquid, musical soul of a tube amp. Based on a zero-feedback circuit design, the citadel reveals layer upon layer of transparency with a deep and sensationally focused soundstage. The bass is extended and powerful, the midrange is pure and naturally resolved, and the top is extraordinarily clean and detailed. The Citadel sounds pure and natural and offers no hint of the mechanical sound that betrays some solid-state contenders. A statement product in every way."

ATI Acquires Theta Digital.

The widely acclaimed audio component manufacturer, Amplifier Technologies, Incorporated [ATI], has acquired Theta Digital. Press release here.

Theta makes the components you need to get deeply satisfying performance from your movies and music.

Theta’s award-winning, exceptionally high performance equipment is all in the service of intense enjoyment; it’s about your personal experience!

Theta products are recognized as benchmarks by audio and video magazines, often appearing as reference components in the systems reviewers use to evaluate other equipment.

Theta components are used as references by major electronics makers, and used extensively by makers of the world's finest loudspeakers.

We build for accuracy and definition; you experience awesome realism.

Theta made the first digital to analog converting component, the DS Pre, in 1988, when no one had made anything like it. We saw the need for outboard digital-to-analog converters (eventually others did too). We also made the first separate DVD transport units, and the first modular updatable/upgradeable surround sound processors and amplifiers. In many ways, theta's Casablanca controllers are still unique; a "product category" of one.

Fine details are what make you feel it's real.

To find out what high performance audio and video can do for you, visit a theta dealer soon: experience a jaw-dropping rendition of one of your own favorite discs!

In London, Hi Fi News’ Ken Kessler presents Theta’s UK distributor, with the award for “Best AV Processor” for Theta’s Casablanca III/Six Shooter combination.

Theta has been a favorite with Hi Fi magazines, garnering awards and praise from the most respected reviewers in the most authoritative publications from the time of the first products.

To the right is an award from The Academy for the Advancement of High End Audio for "THETA CASABLANCA" to the "Theta Design Team."

There is no year indicated, as this is an award for a milestone of such significance that the Academy (made up of the leaders in manufacturing of high performance music playback equipment) feel it advances the field as a whole.
