Theta Digital Downloader (TDD) Flash File Utility Program -- This is a PC program that allows the user to update/reload the flash files and operating system into the Casablanca II F100, Casablanca III and Generation VIII. It also allows the user to save and restore user settings to/from the PC.


Upgrade: This should be used to reinstall flash files, or upgrade to a newer version.
Saving/Restoring User Settings: Backup & restore user-saved settings

This tool includes a setup wizard that guides you through the setup process.

Note: The TDD is for use with Casablanca II with software version 100.0 or higher. It requires an RS232 connection between your PC and the Theta unit. The computer used must be an IBM-compatible PC (not Macintosh compatible)

 

CBA 5 Flash File Utility Program -- This is a PC program similar to the TDD utility, created specifically for the Casablanca II, used to install flash files, and to save and restore the user settings to the PC.


It interfaces with Casablanca II units with software prior to the version 100.0, and provides similar support to the TDD utility – Upgrade, Saving/Restoring User Settings, and Auto-Update, which is used to upgrade or overwrite the existing flash files.

It can be used to perform a Cold Boot Installation, in the event that your Casablanca II has "frozen up" and needs this deep-reboot procedure. (This procedure is to be used only in the event that the Casablanca II will not properly come out of standby, and has been rebooted several times via the rear panel MAIN POWER switch.)
